Reservations may be made by clicking on the “Reservations” button on the web site or by phone 386-775-7648. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required for each room reserved. Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a credit card number or a check for the full amount received at least 7 days prior to your arrival date. Any remaining balance is expected at Check-In. Those reserving via an OTA will be asked for a credit (not debit) card to be on file during their stay. The person making the reservation is responsible for any damage or theft committed by any member of their party.
Cancellations may be made up to 7 days prior to your arrival date. The $50 deposit will be held as a credit to be used on a future stay. If you do not cancel and you do not show up, the amount for the first day will be charged to your credit card. For early departures, special events or holiday periods, we must hold you accountable for the full reservation amount unless the rooms are re-rented for the dates in question. Leaving a phone message is not a reliable way to cancel a reservation. Note that a reservation is not canceled until you get an Email or verbal notice from us. Cancelling on the day of expected arrival is treated the same as not showing up.
Payment may be made with traveler’s checks, cash, Visa, MasterCard or Discover. Checks will be accepted for the full amount if received at least 7 days prior to your arrival date.
Arrival and Departure times are as follows: Check-In time is 3 to 6 PM unless other arrangements are made. Check-out must be completed by 11 AM unless prior arrangements are made. If it is not completed by 11 AM there will be a $50 charge, followed by a $50 charge each hour afterward.
Well-behaved Children at least 9 years old are welcome to stay in the main house. Our cottages are “family friendly”.
Each room in the main house is designed for two people. Each cottage can accommodate at least 2 and some up to 8.
Pets are not permitted in the main house unless it is a service animal (please notify us of this need), but are welcome in our cottages with a $20 fee on their first visit. We must limit the number of pets in a cottage to 2. If you are staying for 5 or more days, we must be allowed to refresh your unit each day. Note: For those that are allergic to animals, please note that we have a cat (Molly) that resides in the main house.
Smoking is permitted outdoors only. Please place butts in outside receptacles only. If you are staying for 5 or more days, we must be allowed to refresh your unit each day. If it is determined that smoking has occurred in your room during your stay, a $50 fee will be charged.
Breakfast in the main house is served at 8 and 9 AM unless arrangements are made ahead of time. It always contains fresh-cut fruit (strawberries, cantaloupe, pineapple), muffins or sweetbread, and sausage and bacon. Occasionally, a small oatmeal brule’ is included. Of course, coffee, water, orange juice, milk and hot tea are available for your beverage. The main dish varies daily as one of the following items: Eggs Benedict, egg souffle’, quiche, omelet, hash brown bake dish, pancakes or french toast (regular, stuffed or baked).
Cottage guests: Our cottages have full kitchens. We supply milk, orange juice, bottled water, coffee, snacks, Pop Tarts, and cereal in the refrigerator for your convenience at no extra charge. You may make arrangements for a full breakfast in the main house at $7 per person. We can deliver breakfast if you request it.
Handicap Accessibility: Our Frontier Cottage is handicap accessible, with ramp, wheel chair access to bathroom and room to roll up to the sink. The Frontier, Victorian, Railroad and Nature Cottages have rails around the toilet and in the shower, with shower stool.
